Yamli: Arabic Search Engine

I just discovered a new Arabic search engine tool that allows those of us with latin based keyboards to be able to search Arabic websites more effectively. What Yamli essentially does is tranliterate Arabic words typed phontenically using the Latin keyboard into Arabic script which is then used to search websites through Google.

I like it Abu Kareem, it is really helpful when you get lost between the two languages.
Do you know of good text translator other than google translator, Arabic-English both ways?

Saint,

I usually do a quick search for an online translator but you can only find mediocre ones unless you are willing to pay and I have been too cheap to pay for one. I use the old-fashioned way: my Arabic-English, English-Arabic dictionary.

SB,

Isn't it? It opens up a whole new segment of the internet that you couldn't get to easily writing in the latin alphabet on google.

Thank you for this abu kareem, very useful indeed.

Let no one say that modern day Arabs have not contributed anything to Western culture. We've just added 16 letters to the latin alphabet!
